The Walls That Taught Me How To See
The Raghu Rai Campus Chronicles
“Wandering through the brick corridors and vine-draped courtyards of the Raghu Rai campus — where I fell hopelessly in love with the quiet art of seeing.”
The Days That Changed My Soul
I arrived at the Raghu Rai campus eager to take impressive photos with sharp technical perfection. But on day one, Raghu Sir looked at my contact sheets and smiled gently: "You are looking, Tanushree, but you are not seeing." Those words unraveled everything I thought I knew. I spent months wandering the quiet brick pathways alone, watching how morning mist wrapped around ancient trees and how afternoon shadows stretched across red brick walls.
The Patience of Light
The campus became my living monastery. It taught me that photography is never about chasing the exotic or dramatic; it is about falling in love with the ordinary. A bird perching on a weathered ledge, sunlight filtering through dust motes, the silent pause of a fellow student lost in thought — these walls taught me to wait, to breathe, and to let the world reveal its heart to me.
A foundational visual diary that defined Tanushree’s signature editorial eye.
