ABOUT
tanushree
I am a Creative Director, filmmaker and photographer working across visual storytelling, brand communication and digital experiences.
My journey began in journalism and communications before moving into creative direction, photography, film and design. Today, I bring these disciplines together to build stories that are visually considered, emotionally honest and made to connect.
I believe good creative work should make people feel something, remember something, or see something differently.

HOW I see.HOW I think.HOW I make.

“The final frame is just the surface. The real work happens in the quiet moments of observation, long before the camera rolls.”

NOTES FROM THE frame
“Writing is thinking out loud — lessons learned in the shadows, on set, and in quiet moments of looking.”
READ ALL ESSAYS →Finding Light in the Chaos
“Some days I feel lost, others I feel found. This is my honest reflection on why I create – the days when everything clicks, and the days when nothing makes sense at all.”
Behind Every Frame, A Story
“People ask me how I get those 'candid' shots. Honestly? I just show up, stay quiet, and let the moment unfold. The camera becomes invisible when trust is built.”
The Day I Fell in Love with Monochrome
“I never planned to shoot in black and white. But one rainy afternoon, I stripped away the colors and found a whole new world. It felt like coming home to a part of myself I'd forgotten.”
FIELD notes
“Short-form dispatches, published reels, and set observations from commercial floors, handloom archives, and architectural spaces.”

“They say shoot for the stars and you’ll land on the moon. We aimed higher and landed on @tvsjupiterofficial — a stellar brief and a team that poured in every ounce of effort.”
“We shot for the stars and now you get to see how we kept our feet on the ground (mostly). Behind the scenes of putting up a stellar show on the shoot floor.”
“মাঝখানে বেশ অনেকটা সময় কেটে গেল... কিন্তু আলমারির কোণে সযত্নে রাখা পুরনো শাড়ির গন্ধটা কি এত সহজে ভোলা যায়? কারণ, 'আদুরী'-র গল্পটা যে এখনো অনেকটা বাকি।”
“Shooting and unwinding on set at The Park Bangalore — balancing agency production rhythms, ambient light, and candid frames between takes.”
“What is one small detail in your home that brings you a sense of calm? Exploring mindfulness, architectural stillness, and personal sanctuaries.”
“It begins with the soil. With a quiet promise of breath. What follows isn’t just construction, it’s a process of becoming — rooted in intention, shaped with precision, guided by light.”
“There is a rhythm that doesn’t demand attention, it reveals itself slowly. What you see is not just space, but a series of moments — pausing, shifting, settling into stillness.”
“Before form, there is nature. Unscripted. Unhurried. Effortlessly present. It enters quietly through shifting light, through the hush of open spaces, through textures that carry the memory of time.”
“Balance. Flow. Alignment. Stillness. The very things we seek through yoga are often the things we seek from the spaces we inhabit — long before they are lived in, they shape the way we feel.”
“Every sanctuary has a story. Not one that’s told through walls or finishes, but through the quiet decisions that shape the way it is experienced — layer by layer, from material to landscape.”
“A Sunday brunch at @theparkbangalore is nothing short of a mini vacation — with poolside light and 10+ live culinary counters crafted for weekend relaxation.”
““Hello April” — Sip, relax, repeat, because mornings at @theparkbangalore hit different. Framing quiet morning light and spring hospitality.”
“Cheers to the Masters of Mixology! Raising our glasses to the artists behind the bar — the ones who craft our favorite cocktails and always bring good vibes.”
“Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and brilliance of women everywhere. From breaking barriers to shaping the future — because when women rise, the world rises with them.”
